Educating children about the importance of responsible pet ownership and the humane treatment of animals will help to ensure a more peaceful and compassionate world for future generations.  Rocky Shores Veterinary Hospital is committed to being involved in the growth of our future leaders of the world by providing on or off-site educational presentations including humane education, which teaches children the importance of empathy and responsible pet guardianship (with the help of a canine assistant!); career-day, which discusses careers in the veterinary and animal-related fields; and dog-bite prevention and safety. We also provide educational tours of our facility to groups of up to 15 people.  Please call the office for more information or to schedule a tour.
